AWARD WINNING WILSON AVENUE PROJECT- The Wilson Avenue project is complete and the ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the newly remodeled corridor. Originally envisioned as a double decker freeway from highway 37 to downtown Vallejo in 1963, we can be extremely grateful that the vision changed to what we see now. In fact, this project won Solano Transportation Authority's Project of the Year award for 2008. The award winning Wilson Avenu Project is a major investment in our community and a gorgeous addition to our quality of life. Allan A.
