Here we are in 2012. Did you make resolutions that you intend to keep? Sometimes resolutions are not easy to keep. However, the VHNA Board is resolved to provide interesting speakers for the VHNA General Meetings on topics that will be informative and interesting. We are resolved to work with Neighborhood Watch Groups within the Vallejo Heights Area to seek solutions to problems. We are resolved to participate in and support efforts for the monthly graffiti paint-out, Adopt a Street Program for quarterly clean up of Sacramento Street, and the yearly North Vallejo/Vallejo Heights North Quad cleanup sponsored by Fighting Back Partnership. With your participation we can make this a productive and beneficial year within Vallejo Heights and the VHNA.

There are also more great events at the Mira Theatre Guild. In particular, we are inviting folks to the FREE concert at the Mira on January 26, 7pm. Local flautist Donna Plummer lost her car containing her flutes, microphones, music, purse and wallet on Christmas Day. The Mira has teamed up with an impressive array of local musicians to put on a fund-raising concert with all donations going to help Donna replace her lost instruments. Come on down to the Bay Terrace Theater, 51 Daniels Ave, to listen to great music and donate (even a little bit) to help Donna!
